I am part of a company that recruits new customers and we must be able to immediately generate a contract for new customers because we have received requests for agreements on the spot during the meetings. We already have a Microsoft Word document that contains all the terms and agreements, but we use it as a model that uses some spaces for the values of the variables entered by the client. I want a program that not only generates these variables in some parts of the document, but also performs some of the calculations and inserts them in the document. Is there a program that can do this with the output files in PDF format for signing? We have already created a Word document, but if we have to convert it to PDF it would be another challenge, but I think we can do it.

Can you provide a simple (and less-expensive!) alternative to Conga, Drawloop, or Webmerge?

Hi Dave,

Any of the platforms you've listed are capable of generating custom documents from templates and outputting to PDF. In terms of signing the PDF what is your end goal here, will you be e-signing or printing out for signature?

See this blog post for a quick run-down on Zocuments templates, syntax, and performing conditional calculations:

Our new customers more often than not do not consent to electronic business and require paper copies in that moment to be be mailed through post so it is preferred to have PDF documents that can be printed. I am still assessing providers to determine which one can create a quote the quickest for our sales team members out in the field.

Dave, how do your sales team members currently capture data for quotes? Zocuments has a number of options available, each of them can have a quote generated and available to your prospects in a matter of seconds.

For example, if data is captured in Salesforce a document can be generated from a Salesforce Report:

Zocuments has a Zapier integration which can be used to generate documents:

For manual data capture you can enter data directly:
